We were very excited to hear that the Shenzhou-V carrying the 38-year-old astronaut Yang, lifted off on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. at Jiuquan Satellite Launch Centre, Gansu Province. After 21-hours and 23 minutes, the Shenzhou-V manned spacecraft landed in northern China. The success was exciting not only for all Chinese, but also for people around the world. That is an honor of our great motherland.

All of our classmates decide to study harder. We wish we could fly into the space by the spacecraft one day.

我們聽到這個好消息簡直太激動了，載着38歲宇航員楊利偉的神州五號載人航天飛機於上午九點鐘在甘肅九泉衛星發射中心發射成功。21小時23分鐘之後，它降落在中國北部。它的成功，不但使全中國振奮，而且也使全世界爲之興奮。這是我們偉大祖國的榮譽。

我們全體同學都決心加倍努力地學習。我們希望有一天，我們也能乘坐宇宙飛船飛往太空。

This morning China launched the first manned we heard the great mews, we couldn＇t help cheering and dancing. The century-old dream has come true. It is important not only for our country, but also for the world. We are very happy to see our motherland becoming stronger. We are proud of her.

Now China＇s first astronaut, Yang Liwei has become our idol and it is the students＇ dream to work in the future for space exploration. So we must do our best to study. When we grow up, we will work hard to make our country richer and stronger.

今天我國第一架載人航天飛機發射成功。當我們聽到這一特大好消息時，我們禁不住歡呼雀躍起來。千年的夢想得以實現。這不光是對我們國家，同時對整個世界都有着重要意義。我們高興地看到，我們的`祖國變得更加強盛。我們爲她自豪。

現在我國第一名宇航員楊利偉已經成爲同學們的偶像了，而他們的夢想就是將來去太空探險。所以我們必須盡最大努力搞好學習。等我們長大了，爲祖國富強而奮鬥。
